Note: Modern Healthcare surveyed 911 participants in Modern Healthcare’s 2019 Women Leaders in Healthcare conference. 75% of those surveyed were female, 23% were male. Most common age group was 55-64 (38%) followed by 45-54 (23%). 84% of those surveyed identified as white. 31% reported working at a company with more than 5,000 employees. In comparison, Modern Healthcare estimates health systems with more than 5,000 employees make up at least 35% of all systems.
