CMS updates hospital star ratings

After nearly 15 months, the CMS updated the ratings for hospitals on Hospital Compare with small changes compared with December 2017. Like previous years, most hospitals received two, three or four stars while few received one or five stars. There was likely little shift because the agency only made one minor change to the methodology.
