Cumulative number of cases through May 31 for 11,704 nursing homes marked as passing a quality assurance check.
An additional 203 facilities reporting deaths but no confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 were excluded, as were 137 facilities for which a star rating was not available.
In some cases where total occupied beds were unavailable, average number of residents per day was used.
