EXCESS CASES AND DEATHS

A new study estimated that 68,613 COVID-19 cases and 16,623 deaths in nursing homes were not reported to the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network in 2020 because they were not required to before the week ending May 24.
Here are those estimated missing cases and deaths as a percentage of cases and deaths by May 24 and for 2020 totals.
