Tim Weinheimer has led the development of integrated digital marketing strategies for clients including The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), Office for Civil Rights (OCR), Cleveland Clinic, Righttime Urgent Care, and the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum. Specifically, for HHS/ONC, Weinheimer led the overall strategic direction for the communications campaign promoting the nationwide adoption of electronic health records (EHRs) under the HITECH Act including the creation of HealthIT.gov. The campaign won numerous awards, most notably PRWeek Best Public Sector Campaign of the Year and a Gold SABRE Award for research and measurement.
As the founder of The Weinheimer Group, a digital marketing consultancy in Austin, Weinheimer works with clients to develop strategies to stay ahead by leveraging the latest innovations and thinking in integrated mobile and digital marketing strategy with a focus on health tech and mobile health customer engagement. Previously, Weinheimer led the development of digital departments and teams while working for some of the world's leading agencies including Ketchum, The Richards Group, and Ogilvy & Mather. Weinheimer is a member of Google's Public Sector Advisory Council and an active leader in Austin's health tech community.
×As managing editor of Sharp Health News, Pam Hardy leads a team of more than 30 people in the creation and distribution of news stories, videos, infographics and patient testimonials from across Sharp HealthCare, San Diego’s largest health system.
Prior to joining Sharp in 2015, Hardy served as director of marketing and communications for California Western School of Law, where she launched a digital newsroom, developed a social media strategy and served as editor-in-chief of Res Ipsa magazine. She became the first director of communications for San Diego’s City Council President in 2006, where she initiated a successful media and community outreach plan. Hardy began her career in journalism, producing and hosting live daily news programming for San Diego’s NPR affiliate, KPBS-FM.
Hardy holds degrees in communications and political science from UC San Diego.

Earlier this year, Cobb served as the Illinois press secretary for the historic presidential bid of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She began her media duties for political campaigns in 1988 as national traveling press secretary to presidential candidate Jesse Jackson. Earlier in her career while working as a teacher, Wagner got her start in development at the local level working for State Senator John Madigan and State Representative Lee Daniels in the summer times to learn “real world” skills to help her in the classroom. In 1999, she left teaching to work full time for Speaker Dennis Hastert, and went on to be his National Finance Director, responsible for the entire Finance and PAC Operation.
After many requests for her services, in 2004, Lisa decided to start up her own company, taking on new projects and clients.
×Kelly Jo Golson joined Advocate Health Care in 2007 where she serves as the senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Golson has more than 17 years of experience in the health care industry and has held numerous key leadership roles at Memorial Hermann Healthcare, Methodist Healthcare and St. Luke’s Episcopal Healthcare.
She has an undergraduate degree in journalism from Texas A&M University and a masters in business administration from Our Lady of the Lake University.

She further developed her insight-based brand and product marketing skills as vice president of corporate marketing leading global efforts for Nokia’s location and commerce division based in Chicago.
Martino holds a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin.
×Beth NeCamp is The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center chief communications officer and associate vice president. She leads a staff of 75+ professionals. NeCamp has served the medical center for more than 23 years, earning six promotions of increasing responsibility and exposure in that time.
NeCamp's accomplishments include developing the first formal strategic communications and marketing plan for the medical center, which includes an annual scorecard; creating the first digital strategy team that combines the resources of IT and marketing teams to improve the organization’s digital presence; and launching the first statewide marketing campaign that led to significant increase in awareness and willingness to recommend by Ohio residents.
Tapped to share her healthcare knowledge, NeCamp is an adjunct marketing instructor in the MHA program at the Ohio State College of Public Health.

×Joan Kurtenbach is vice president of strategic planning, marketing, and communications at Rush University Medical Center. She is responsible for the oversight of strategic planning, media relations, marketing and communications, strategic outreach, international patient services and referral relations. She teaches the health care planning and marketing course within the health systems management graduate program at Rush. Prior to accepting her current position in 2008, Kurtenbach was vice president of business development and strategic planning at Resurrection Health Care in Chicago from 2003 to 2008, having responsibility for strategic and business initiatives across the system.

×Cynthia Schmidt is the chief of marketing at VCU Health. She is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring ongoing strategic marketing and communications in support of the goals and objectives of VCU Health. In addition, she is an adjunct faculty member in VCU’s School of Mass Communication, teaching several advertising classes.
Before leading the medical center’s marketing team, she was the director of university marketing at VCU for 10 years, helping shape and manage VCU’s image with an emphasis on undergraduate admissions.
Prior to joining VCU in 2001, she served as vice president at the Richmond-based ad agency Siddall, Matus and Coughter, working in the account management area for almost 17 years. She managed multi-million dollar accounts in a wide range of businesses, from health care to consumer products.
×Jennifer Bazante is enterprise vice president for Humana. In this role, she leads all aspects of marketing designed to drive the brand and the business objectives. She is responsible for developing the Humana brand across all key stakeholders through effective marketing strategies and plans, sponsorships, and brand visual language and identity.
